The food was great! We got a variety or appetizers, main dishes, and kids meals. The staff were very friendly and the food came and drinks came out quickly.
We were here on a Monday night right after New Years and it was obvious that college kids were returning to town and this is a normal hangout for lots of them. It's a neat little place just off the square. I had a simple cheeseburger and fries, but both were very tasty and served to us very hot. They have a great selection of beer and the young lady that served us was very pleasant and helpful, despite having to deal with a pretty large crowd and noisy conditions (College football on the TVs). I would definitely go back and have no problems recommending this place to my friends based on the food alone, but the great service makes it a slam dunk. Give it a go when you're in San Marcos.
Good vibes and eats all around. A little rustic and a lot of fun. Great burgers. Daiquiris look tempting but aren’t as good as anywhere you’d expect in Louisiana but okay for college town I guess.
Great good & great environment! Server was so polite & knowledgeable about all the meals/drinks! I got the Brisket Grilled Cheese! 10/10 recommend !! Must visit when in San Marcos! (And I’m from Ohio!)
We really enjoyed the frozen Daiquiri's they by far are some of the best we've ever had the cheeseburgers were fresh juicy and delicious and the lemon pepper wings with ranch were amazing this is our third time here and the food is always consistently good we also love the Patio area great lunch dinner or date spot!
Crafthouse had an awesome atmosphere along with great service. I tried the Elk burger and it was pretty good. I would definitely stop here again when coming through San Marcos!

One of the best food places to visit in downtown San Marcos. It is a bar with good food available for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We had Nachos and French fries and they were delish for less than 15. It was enough for 3 people. The interior is very nice and there is ample seating arrangements including outdoor seating. The staff are super nice and serves fast. Overall a great place to hangout and eat.
